ACC’s online summer camp has officially began this Monday (July 27th)! We provide a variety of high-quality courses for children in the community free of charge. All interested students are welcome to participate!
📌Registration : Please scan the QR code on the poster, fill out the form, and select your course. Successful registration is considered successful upon successful submission of the form.
📌Class information notice : Before the class begins, we will send the Zoom account and password to everyone in the group. Once the class begins, please remember the class time and Zoom information and arrive on time.

ACC Asian Community Center launches 2 years of free online summer camps,
Children create dual guarantees of summer learning and growth.
The Asian Community Center (ACC) has launched a popular public welfare education project for community families: the 2025 free online summer camp is now open, helping students in grades 1-8 continue learning, explore their interests, broaden their horizons, and spend a fulfilling and meaningful summer during the holidays.
The hot registration and additional courses reflect the strength of ACC organization and its original intention of service.
To date, 276 students have registered for this summer camp, demonstrating the enthusiastic response. To meet high demand and ensure the quality of instruction, ACC added a second class for some popular courses, ensuring that every registered child can participate smoothly and receive the same high-quality instructional resources.
The courses in this summer camp include:
– Reading and Writing ( Ela & Writing Workshop)
– Mathematics (Grades 1-5, Algebra, and Algebra 2)
– Human Anatomy
– Art (Am)
– Chess
Classes are held daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM via Zoom, allowing parents to flexibly choose courses based on their children’s interests. All courses are completely free, ensuring equitable access to high-quality educational resources.
The teaching staff is strong, training students and cultivating young people.
The instructors are primarily outstanding high school student volunteers from several specialized high schools in New York City (such as Stuyvesant and Brooklyn Tech). They independently prepared lessons, created PowerPoint presentations, and designed interactive teaching content during their vacation, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and leadership. This not only supports the children’s public welfare education but also provides a valuable training opportunity for the high school volunteer team.
Offline basketball summer camps are carried out simultaneously, focusing on the comprehensive development of children.
In addition to online learning, AC also launched a twice-weekly offline basketball summer camp this year, held every Tuesday and Thursday at Leif Erikson Park. The activities provide young people with opportunities to exercise their bodies and enhance their sense of teamwork, allowing them to not only “exercise their brains” but also “exercise their bodies” during the summer.

From language classes and health workshops to cultural activities and youth support programs, ACC is present at every critical stage of a child’s development. This summer, ACC continues to support families and brighten every child’s holiday with concrete actions.
